Description

Vinios de Los Herederos del Marques de Riscal has been since it’s foundation in 1858, a pioneering winery in Rioja. It was the first winery in Rioja making barrel-aged wines.

It is made with the varieties, Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo from vines over 15 years old. Picking is done by hand and is aged for 26 months in American-oak barrels. It’s got a balsamic aroma with notes of ripe fruit. On the palate it’s fresh, light and persistant with soft and round tannins.
