Description

Chateauneuf du Pape Les Cailloux Andre Brunel

Deeply coloured with complex aromas of ripe red fruits, leather and attractive hints of undergrowth, this velvety wine shows a wonderful alliance between power and elegance, culminating in a long, savoury finish.

Andre Brunel’s family first settled in Chateauneuf du Pape in the 17th century and has been fully committed to making wine for five generations. In 1971, Andre Brunel took over the reins and expanded the estate. His talented skills earned him worldwide recognition for the intensity and concentration of his wines. Today, the family estate covers 22 hectares in Chateauneuf du Pape and 40 hectares in the Cotes du Rhone and is sustainably cultivated and HVE certified. It is now in the hands of Andre’s son, Fabrice, who having installed a brand new state-of-the-art winery, continues the family tradition of combining modern technical expertise with the traditional power of the region to produce wonderfully balanced wines.
